Working on consultation with Grow Wild, 4CG is supporting a cross-generation project to plant twelve different varieties of wild flowers in a number of sites around Cardigan.

The project aims to help young people understand that positive impacts they can have on their environment when they work together - creating benefits for themselves and well as having fun.

The various sites around Cardigan town will create a feast for the senses (as well as fertile territory for local insects) which aims to inspire and create a love of wild flowers for all passers by.

Sewing a bee in a Grow Wild Workshop

It's not just sowing wildflowers either - we're also sewing them!

Weekly knitting and growing workshops enable those involved to create a wonderful townscape for locals, visitors and bees to enjoy - and provide all involved with a great sense of achievement.

We're partnering in the project with Aberteifi Cardigan Knitters, Blooming Wild Cardigan, Pendre Art and
Lisa Hellier
